Osmo coding kits for kids soon to be launched on Amazon Fire tablets

It has been more than two years since the Osmo Kids learning system was launched as an iOS exclusive. However, the system is finally coming to Android with Amazon’s Fire tablets. At present the kits have the technology that uses reflective AI which is fixed to the device’s camera to integrate physical objects in to the digital environment. The device has been device has been designed specifically for children to improve their learning techniques with the help of technology.

With the help of Lego-style blocks, tiles and the pen and paper, the children can have fun while interacting with the onscreen characters to complete objectives in the open ended world. Here the more creative the child gets in the real world, digital awards become bigger. Osmo has said that the games help the children to learn how to code in over, 30,000 schools and the low priced Amazon Fire tablets must be introduced to more young children. Some of the low priced Amazon Fire tablets cost less than $80-$100.

The Osmo Genius Kit and Creative Kit can be pre-ordered from September 17, 2018. Both the devices work on Amazon’s Fire 7, Fire HD 8 and Fire HD 10 tablets. With the compatibility with the devices, the users can get access to the games like Words, Numbers, Tangrams, Newton and Masterpiece and Monster. There is more as the device will also have support for the relatively fresh Disney Super Studio add-on which is priced at $19.99. These lets the children draw Disney Princesses, Mickey and Friends and The Incredibles.

But there are still a few things which might be missing which includes the musical coding jam kit and the Hot Wheels Mindracers. Despite the drawbacks, the company has promised that it will soon be adding more titles soon. Osmo is a line of educational digital/physical games which is produced by the company Tangible Play.
