Tech giant Google had introduced the Google Glass in 2014 with a hope that it would help revolutionize the usage of devices in future. Now the Google Glass has got the MyGlass companion app update with a few bug fixes and also supports Bluetooth. This also means that the XE23 version of the device can now be connected to the keyboards, mouse and more Bluetooth enabled devices.

The new app update was launched on June 21, 2017 while the firmware update was launched as a surprise on June 22, 2017. The new software update indicates that the device is still kicking and its craze has not died yet. The device had gone out of the popularity zone since Google stopped its production a year later, in 2015.

After this Google launched an updated version of the Google Glass with Google X. While the original Google Glass team moved on to Google X, seems like someone quietly kept working on it and has now surprised the world with the MyGlass update. The update comes as a surprise as it came after a long gap of three years. This is also an indication of the fact that Google has not completely moved on from the Google Glass and might strike again with a new update!
