Apple has sent out invites to the media for an event to be held on Thursday, October 16, 2014. A new iPad has been long due and market analysts predict that the company is going to launch a new iPad and Mac computer at the event. The event is scheduled for October 16, 2014 and will be held at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California.
The company teased everyone in the invitation sent out that read, “It’s been way too long.” It has been only a month since Apple announced the launch of the Apple Watch, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. It is most likely that Apple will launch a new line of iPads since, traditionally, the company has always launched iPads in the month of October. Last year in October, the the tech-giant had launched the iPad Air and iPad Mini series.
A report on Recode last week suggests that the company may also shed more light on the OS X Yosemite – the latest Operating Software for Mac computers. The OS was first announced at the WWDC in July 2014, along with the iOS 8.
Apple launch event have always managed to grab the attention of people. Last month, on September 9, 2014, the tech-giant launched the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, at a highly publicized event.
