Here’s how Samsung, HTC and a few other brands reacted to the Apple iPhone 6 launch.

It has already been a week to the Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus launch, but the smartphones are still making news. Apple went against its traditional design when it bumped up the sizes of its phones to a 4.7 inch iPhone 6 and a 5.5 inch iPhone 6 Plus. Earlier in 2010, former Apple CEO Steve Jobs had said that no one would buy a phone that did not fit in their hand.

However, the current market craze about larger screen phones forced Apple to make the change in its flagship device. Addressing the crowd gathered at the launch on September 9, 2014, Apple CEO Tim Cook said, “These products have bigger screens and they’re amazing but they’re much better in every single way.”

Apple has always been a market leader in the electronics industry. However, lately a few brands have been eating into Apple’s market. We list the reactions of rival firms:

Asus joined in on the party, making sure it highlights its price-point advantage of its ZenFone over the iPhone. Basically meaning that you can buy 6 Asus Zenfones for the price of 1 iPhone 6.

3. HTC
