The latest operating software by Google, Android 5.0 Lollipop may well be released on November 3, 2014. A report published on popular website, Android Police, claims that Google will be rolling out its first over-the-air update on November 3. The information came via a document that was sent over by Google to developers.

The document contained a Software Development kit, that all app developers are given when a new operating software is unveiled. This makes building apps specific to the software much easier. This leaked information might not be a big surprise, since Google had recently announced that their new Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 would be debuting in markets early in November.

The phones will come equipped with the Android L and releasing the software at the time the new hardware launches is a logical step. However, there is a little doubt over what devices the software will come out to first. The report on Android Police claims that the Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 7 (2013 Wi-Fi) and Nexus 10 tablets will receive the update first.

The reason for this is that all the devices listed above are Wi-Fi devices and do not have LTE capabilities. This means that the Nexus 4, 5 and 7 (with LTE) will get the new Android software a little later.

Google had first announced the Android L at its June 2014 I/O conference. The Lollipop has a ton of new features like richer colors, new notification setup and a new battery saver mode.
