The ring can be worn on the thumb and communicates with various devices via Bluetooth. The new device is known as Fin and has five pre-programmed features, with the help of which users can create custom ones on an app which comes with the device. Rohildev Nattukallingal, the founder of RHL Vision Technologies said, “People in today’s world are becoming more busy, but still they are wasting a lot of time interacting with their smart devices”.

He went on to say that the device removes the interaction gap by enabling users to quickly interact with other gadgets. The new portable gadget can control volume on a smart TV and can even allow users to text or dial a number without touching their phones. The creators of Fin say that they hope this natural interaction can also assist people who are visually impaired.

The best part is that the new device can last up to a month on a single charge if it is in power-saving mode and if it is used for eight hours a day. Fin will be available for $120 and will be officially released in September 2014.
