Netflix has recently launched its Kindle Fire app for the UK market. The new app will allow subscribers to stream movies and TV shows on their Amazon tablets.
A dedicated app has been offered for Android devices for close to a year now and this includes the Kindle Fire and the Kindle Fire HD tablets. Other online retailers have only launched their tablets in Europe, and their units began shipping last week. On the other hand the Amazon Kindle PaperWhite is facing major shipping delays. The Netflix app is available for download from the Amazon App store, while the Kindle Fire tablet comes packed with Netflix Euro-rival and the Amazon subsidy LoveFilm.
