Verizon soon to offer Blackberry Priv smartphone

Mobile phone manufacturing giant Blackberry had in recent times unveiled the Blackberry Priv, its first smartphone to be powered by Google’s Android operating system. Reports say that the smartphone will run on the Verizon Wireless network. Verizon is not ready at present but has mentioned in a Tweet that the much anticipated phone is ‘coming soon’.
Earlier speculations have suggested that the phone will join the latest line up of smartphones of Verizon in 2016. The Tweets by Verizon have suggested that the new Priv is expected to arriveearlier than expected. Verizon Wireless has not disclosed any details on when it is planning to ship or how much it is planning to offer the Priv.
There is a possibility that the new phone will be launched in time for the holiday season. On the other hand the Priv has already been launched by rival AT&T on November 6, 2015. The online store of Blackberry is offering the Android phone in the United States for $699.
In terms of speculations, the 5.4 inch screen has a 1,440 X 2,560 resolution , 32 GB Storage, 3 GB RAM, 2 TB Capacity micro SD slot for people who need extra space. The device comes packed with an octa core 1.8 GHz CPU and Adreno 418 GPU and a Snapdragon 808 chipset.
