Google unveils smart Wi Fi router

Search engine giant Google has unveiled a new WiFi router which can help to increase and ease. The new device will allow the smartphones and tablets to be connected with its services at home. Google has joined hands with OnHub which is its manufacturing partner and networking partner TP-Link.

The company says that it is a different kind of router as it provides a new way to be connected to the WiFi. OnHub is easy to install and manage and has high performance and helps to tie together smart home accessories. Google in a blog post said, “Instead of headaches and spotty connections, OnHub gives you Wi-Fi that’s fast, secure, and easy to use”.
The key selling point of OnHub is the fact that it can be easily installed and that not much efforts have to made in case of troubleshoot. The device can be connected to the iOS and Android phones. It is a clean and stylish application that tells the owners how many devices are connected to the OnHub and what speeds they are getting.
Google says that the circular design of the device will help with a better penetration of the signals throughout a home and will automatically detect the best channel to broadcast on and includes support for 802.11ac and 5GHz Wi Fi.
