LG introduces world’s first 84 inch UD 3D TV

South Korean electronics company, LG has always been dedicated to provide wondrous pieces of consumer electronics for the masses. The company has on August 22, 2012 launched the world’s first 84 inch Ultra Definition 3D TV which was recently introduced in the Korean market.

The new UD 3D TV is the company’s efforts to meet the consumer’s ever increasing demand for larger and more immersive home TVs which sport a greater degree of functionality. Havis Kwon, the President and CEO of LG Electronics Home Entertainment Company said, “The 4K display market is still in its infancy but it was important for LG to claim a stake in this space. LG’s UD 3D TV represents a whole new level of home viewing experience because it offers every advanced technology we currently have to offer.”

The new 3D TV comes with a great picture quality of 8 million pixels per frame and has been developed under the LG’s advanced Triple D Engine. The TV also features the Resolution Upscaler Plus which enables the images some external sources like a portable drive or websites to be rendered in higher detail.

LG has also equipped the UD 3D TV with the CINEMA D technology for the most enjoyable experience.
