The police in Suffolk will be targeting the motorists who risk their lives by speeding this week. A campaign has been launched by the TISPOL the European Traffic Police Network which begins on August 20, 2012 and will run until August 26, 2012.

To keep a watch on the motorists, the mobile speed cameras will be located across the country and will have a watch on the speeding drivers. Motorists who are caught speeding will be offered a Speed Awareness course or receive a £60 fixed penalty notice and three points on their licence. Under certain circumstances the drivers could also be taken to the court where they might face larger fines or driving bans.
