The first Microsoft Lumia device to be unveiled soon

Technology giant Microsoft is all set to unveil its first ever Microsoft Lumia device. Microsoft announced that it will be launching the device on November 11, 2014. Soon after the announcement, there were some images of the new phone that were leaked onto the internet. The device, that was previously tipped to be named RM-1090 is now believed to be called Lumia 535.

In other news, there were some images that were leaked on a Chinese website that showed another of Microsoft’s phablet device rumored to be called Lumia 1330, which is most likely to succeed the Lumia 1320. The images were leaked on website WMPoweruser.

The images that were leaked show a white Lumia with the Microsoft branding at the back. The phone will be running the Windows 8.1 software and will come in Blue, Black, Grey, Green and Orange color options.

Listings on the US Federal Communications Commission report the following specs of the Lumia 535.

  • Display: 5-inch
  • Resolution: 540 x 960
  • Processor: 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon
  • RAM: 1 GB
  • Camera: Primary – 5 megapixel; Secondary – VGA (0.3 megapixel)
  • Battery – 1900 mAh

About the second phablet, there are no specs that are given out, except for images that show a really large phone – as large as 6 inches.

On October 22, 2014, Microsoft announced that it would be changing the Nokia Lumia branding and making it Microsoft Lumia. This Lumia 535 will be the first device to carry the Microsoft brand name at the back.
