After a long time, phone manufacturer Motorola has kept its promise to provide the best of technology to its users. The company has unveiled its new Moto X smartphone, which is very noteworthy and has a number of features good enough to catch the attention of phone enthusiasts.
The latest phone has the ability to detect if it is placed in the user’s pocket instead in the cup holder of a car, which is going 60 miles per hour on the highway. Users can simply give commands to the phone with their voices in order to do certain things, without having to touch any button. There is more, as users need not wake it up to look at the time or to see if there are any messages pending.
The handset is also the first phone which is produced from scratch by Motorola Mobility, after it was acquired by Google in 2012. The new Moto X will be available in the US market from all the major carriers toward the end of August or early September 2013. The phone’s price will begin from $199.99 for a 16 GB version and a two-year contract. The 32 GB version will be available for $249.99.
Google will also be offering a 50 GB of online storage for free through Google Drive.
