Casio launches Baby-G tough watches for women

Electronics manufacturing giant Casio has launched its new range of Baby-G wrist watches for the Japanese market. The new shock resistant watches are built specially for women and are known as the BGA-151GG .

The new line of wrist watches are the product of a collaborative effort with the Korean pop group ‘Girls’ Generation’. The group is the brand ambassador of the Baby–G brand. Girls’ Generation has a strong fan base in Asia and its members are involved in a wide range of activities from singing to acting.

The girl-band are known to be ‘Tough, Cute and Cool’, which fits in best with the marketing strategy of the Baby G watches. The group has been the brand ambassador for Casio since July 2012. The BGA-151GG watch has a fashionable big front-face, which stands out and gives a stylish look on the wrist.

The wrist watch can be purchased in three stylish colors – black, red and white. The black and red models have gold highlights, while the white model features pink highlights and also reflects the active pop image of Girls’ Generation . The company will be offering the watch with special packaging which will have the signatures of the members of the group.
