Research In Motion (RIM) is trying very hard to revive its market presence. The next move from the company to try and stay alive in the competitive communication device market is a new smartphone, which it will introduce on January 30, 2012.

RIM was once considered to be one of the leading names in the smartphone industry across the world. These days however, it is struggling to keep up with competitors like Apple and Samsung. The new range of smartphones will run on BlackBerry 10, which is an upgraded operating system. However, the company has not revealed when the smartphones will be available for sale. The devices were earlier supposed to be unveiled later this year, but in June the company announced a delay.
