US based software giant Microsoft has launched a new photo app that has been specifically designed for the selfies. The application is not very complicated as the users have to just snap of select a picture from the iPhone’s camera and then process it in the app.
The features of the app are similar to that on Instagram. The company has named it as Microsoft Selfie and is aimed to make that special selfie in the gallery even more special. Microsoft has described the app as a “selfie and portrait enhancement application”. In short it can be said that the company has designed the app to make the pictures look like they have been clicked by a professional.
Despite the fact the app is known as ‘Selfie’, pictures can be taken with the front as well as the rear camera. The app can be used to edit any picture that the user has clicked. Microsoft Selfie also considers the factors like gender, age, skin tone, lighting noise and more before making some simple changes in the picture. There are 13 different filters that can be selected to do the post processing work.
One has to note that Microsoft Selfie does not have any connections with the social networks like Google Photos, Microsoft Selfie, Facebook or Twitter.
