Some Apple users have complained that the new parallax and zoom features of iOS 7 are causing them motion sickness and headaches. Many people have been commenting on the company’s forum and stated that they have experienced vertigo, nausea and headaches because of the motion on the iPhone’s or iPad’s screen.

Last week, one of the forum posters wrote, “The zoom animations everywhere on the new iOS 7 are literally making me nauseous and giving me a headache. It’s exactly how I used to get car sick if I tried to read in the car.” Many other Apple users also reported similar issues with the new operating system and said that they have been trying to contact Apple regarding this problem.

However, users were told that some features can be switched off, while some of them opted to downgrade from iOS 7 to the previous version of the operating system, iOS 6. The parallax feature of iOS 7 enabled users to feel as if they are head on with the display, even as it was being moved in various directions.

Meanwhile, zoom functions will reportedly remain as they are, with no modifications available, while the parallax feature can be reduced from the Accessibility menu in iOS 7.
