The productivity tools for search engine giant Google, have got new names and uses can now deploy them as apps in the Chrome web store.

Originally, the document, spreadsheet and presentation tools were under the Google Docs banner, and in the month of April it became Google Drive. But now, a new Google Drive post on October 23, 2012 says that the mentioned items will now be known as Docs, Sheets and Slides. The new name for the Google service came along with the release of Docs, Sheets and Slides as Individual Chrome Web Store apps. For people who operate Chrome on a standard PC, there is no difference between installing the apps and simply bookmarking them within the browser.
