Sony delays launch of new PlayStation Store in US

Electronics manufacturer Sony announced that the launch of the new PlayStation Store in the US has been delayed. The new PlayStation Store was supposed to go live next week in the United States, Canada, Brazil and Mexico.

Eric Lempel, the Vice President of Sony assured users  on his blog, that they just want to make sure that they have an exceptional experience with the new store, due to which they appreciate their customers patience as they complete the final phases before the launch. The store was earlier launched in New Zealand, Australia and several other countries in Europe. On October 20, 2012 the store went live in Russia, Saudi Arabia and Ukraine.
