Steven Sinofsky, the president of Microsoft’s Windows group on October 4, 2012 blogged about a slew of application updates. The new app updates are expected to roll out to users of Windows 8 RTM in the upcoming days and weeks.
According to our sources, from October 5, 2012, a Bing update will be available for download on the Windows Store. Along with it more updates will be rolled out gradually until the Windows 8 launch on October 26, 2012. On Sinofski’s blog, Gabriel Aul of Microsoft had also detailed the list of upgraded apps that were first released in the manufacturing build of Windows 8 in the month of August.
