Amazon hopes that the new Cloud Drive app will compete with the Cloud facilities which are currently available which includes that of Google, Microsoft and Dropbox. The digital locker can be immediately accessed by those who have an Amazon account by entering their user name and password. The online retailer has been waiting to launch this cloud service for about a year in UK. Originally it was released in the US in March 2011.
