Online shopping giant Amazon continues to expand its Kindle with a new India Kindle store. The company has joined hands with Indian retailer Croma to sell the Kindle tablet in the stores.
Amazon has now reached with its Kindle to the shores of India, where the tablet will be sold at Rs. 6,999 or about $126. The Kindle which will be available in India is the entry level non touch screen model which sells for $76 in the US in a ‘Special Offers’ ad support version. Amazon said that India Kindle Stores offers more than one million books including 70 of 100 Nielsen Best sellers and even has the lowest prices of any e-book store in India.
