Sky TV announces TV services on PlayStation 3

Sky TV customers who take Sky Go Extra will now be able watch Sky’s live and on demand content on their PlayStation 3. The users can surf through a wide range of content of entertainment channels and Sky Box Sets which includes shows like Girls, Modern Family, Fortitude and True Detective.

 

With the recent announcement, the service is now available on more than 70 devices. Apart from the entertainment channels, the customers of Sky Go Extra customers will be able to select from more than 1,000 movies which includes the latest edition of packed blockbuster on Sky movies.

There is more for even the sports lovers as they can watch live Formula One, Barclays Premiere League, Super Bowl and the ICC Cricket World Cup. Sky Brand director Luke Bradley Jones said, “It’s great news that millions of PlayStation®3 owners can now also watch the latest Sky TV content straight from their consoles. From our new drama Fortitude to Super Bowl XLIX and Disney’s Sofia the First – there’s something for everyone to enjoy on Sky this Spring.”

Customers of Sky TV with Sky Go Extra can make use of their PlayStation 3 as one of their registered devices and has become an addition to the broad range of internet connected devices that Sky Go is already available on.
