While the whole world is looking forward towards the mega sports event 2012 London Olympics, Samsung Electronics has on July 27, announced the launch of its Galaxy S III with 2012 London Olympics theme. The company has announced a limited edition of the handsets in support of the Team GB during the Olympic Games.
Sam sung is a worldwide Olympic partner and it revealed that it hopes that its exclusive version of its recently released Android Smartphone will allow the consumers to commemorate the Games, which has returned to the country for a historic third time. It is the official phone of the 2012 London Olympics and comes with two newly available interchangeable back panels.
Both handsets have been incorporated with the popular Olympic rings, Team GB logo for the white Samsung Galaxy S III and blue handset bound Union Jack cover will transform the standard SIII in to a piece of patriotic gadget. The handset runs on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and features 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display, quad core processor, 8 mega pixel rear mounted camera with 1080 p Full HD video recording capabilities.
The Olympic theme based phone will be sold from August 1, 2012 at Carphone Warehouse stores and online.
