Smartphone manufacturing giant HTC has announced its brand new HTC Desire 310 on the official website. The latest handset by HTC is a successor to the Desire 300, in addition to being a mid-range handset.
Some of the features of the dual-SIM HTC Desire 310 include a 4.5-inch 854 x 480 resolution display, it is powered by a MediaTek MT6582M 1.3GHz quad-core processor and has 1 GB of RAM. Other features of the device include 4 GB of internal RAM, microSD card slot, 5-mega-pixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front camera.
Connectivity features of the phone include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G HSDPA and is powered by a 2000 mAh battery. The company also announced its partnership with MediaTek as a way to provide mid-range handsets to its users at a reasonable price. On the other hand, the company will have to face a tough competition from other smartphone manufacturers in the market.
For instance, the Moto G offers impressive specifications for a small amount of money and that is going to be tough to surpass. The new HTC Desire 310 will be available for the UK market from April 2014. The handset will be offered through Vodafone, Carphone and O2. The handset competition in the market has increased and HTC is trying its best to stay relevant.
