South Korean tech giant Samsung has announced the launch dates and prices of its Galaxy Tab 3 line of tablets in the United States. Apart from the regular tablets, the company will also be including the first Intel-powered Android tablet for the launch. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch will have the beginning price at $399, while the smaller 8-inch Galaxy Tab 3 will be priced from $299 and the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3 with a Marvell processor will cost from $199.
Samsung said that all three tablets will go on pre-sale from June 25, 2013 and the actual sales will begin on July 7, 2013. The models that will be sold in the US market will have Wi-Fi only, without cellular capacity. The company previously announced the Galaxy Tab 3 range globally, between April 29 and June 3, 2013 and the new range will take many styling ideas from the Galaxy S4 smartphones.
The 7-inch and the 8-inch models look like they are the expanded versions of the Galaxy S4 devices. All new models will come in two colors, white or gold-brown and will feature a physical home button just below the screen, same as with Galaxy S4.
In the meantime, Samsung is trying its best to improve its Galaxy range with exclusive software.
