Apple enthusiasts who were longing for an iPhone 5 on T-Mobile can now order their own handset on the company’s website. The website claims that the mobile phone can be pre-ordered and will be shipped on April 12, 2013. The handset can be picked up for as little as $99 with a monthly instalment of $20 per month for 24 months.
Customers also have the option to pay in full by cash when they checkout. Prices as low as $579 for the 16 GB model are also an option. When joined with a $50-per-month plan, the offer would make a good deal. The availability of the iPhone 5 on T-Mobile was announced during the carrier’s ‘UNcarrier’ event which was held last month.
The telecom company said that it intends to shape up the wireless industry with all new plans, as no other carrier has such competitive offers. Reports say that this is a very bold move by the company, but its CEO John Legere says that he is confident that the customers will love it.
The iPhone 5 has 4G LTE, due to which T-Mobile customers will be able to take the advantage of faster speeds, although the carrier is making LTE available in just a few cities, which will put some customers off the device.
