Acer will soon be launching a Windows 8 tablet, the Iconia, on October 26, 2012. The new device will be one of the first tablets to run on Microsoft’s new platform. The Iconia W700 was announced during the Computex, and features a 11.6 inch 1920 X 1080 Full HD IPS LCD touch screen.
Customers will get the device in a choice of two processors: with either the Intel i3 or the Intel i5 processor. The device will have Wi Fi, Bluetooth, 1 mega pixel front facing camera, and a 5 mega pixel rear camera. The Iconia W700 will also feature USB 3.0 along with Thunderbolt. But one of t the most eye catching features will be the devices cradle, which will also charge the tablet.
