Three downloadable content packs will be released by Nintendo for the new Super Mario Bros 2, Mario’s gold-digging adventure for the Nintendo 3DS. The content will be released starting this October, 2012.
Satotu Iwata, the president of Nintendo detailed the three DLC packs during a Chotto Nintendo Direct in a video presentation this evening.
The first downloadable pack is known as Gold Mario Go! Go ! pack and will have three new Coin Rush mode stages with 30,000 coins available. This will be the least challenging of the three. The second one has three time limited challenges which are primarily about reaching a high score. The scores will be posted on Nintendo’s website.
