Global gaming manufacturing giant Razer is gearing up with the world’s first wireless keyboard and mouse which is designed specifically for the Xbox One and will be talking more about the devices at the CES, 2019. US based software giant Microsoft had talked about its new partnership with Razer during X018 earlier in November, 2018.

Microsoft’s Xbox One console now supports the mouse and keyboard input on the selected titles including the popular battle royale title Fortnite. Other titles that will be adding support in November include Bomber Crew, Warframe, Deep Rock Galactic, Strange Brigade, Vermintide 2, War Thunder and X-Morph Defense. On the other hand Moonlighter, Vigor, Minion Master, Chindren of Morta, Day Z, Warface and Wargroove will also be adding their support in future.

Since the support is live, the software giant has said that all the developers must have the tools that they need to create tailored keyboard and mouse experiences for the games that they see fit. Microsoft, in the September Xbox Wire post said, “With this new input support at the platform level, developers can now build mouse and keyboard support in their games if and how they choose”. The post added, “It’s important to note that mouse and keyboard support for games is added on a title-by-title basis, entirely at developers’ discretion. For all other titles, nothing changes. Mouse and keyboard input is not enabled by default for games. Each development team knows their titles best and we support them in creating the right experience for their games as they see fit, to ensure an optimal and fair gaming experience.”

Reports say that the new devices by Razer are being made for living room as well as desktop scenarios. The mice and keyboards come equipped with dedicated Xbox key with support for the new Xbox Dynamic Lighting feature that enables immersive in-game lighting effects.
