The Pixel 2 by Google will be available for the gadget enthusiasts on a good bargain. The company has introduced a price cut for the flagship device and the price drop will make the device one of the cheapest deals ever on the smartphone. The Pixel 2 is sold by Currys and Carphone for just £449 with the SIM for free.

With the price slash, there is a saving of £180 off the usual price of the device and Google’s own store still sells the Pixel 2 for £629. Apart from the Pixel 2 there is also a good deal from Currys on the larger Pixel 2 XL with the phone on sale for £549 while saving £250. Moreover, once again Google has listed the XL on its website for a price of £799. The recent price cuts have been introduced after the US tech firm is all set to release the new Pixel 3 in the upcoming weeks.

A major event is scheduled for October 9, and it seems certain that two new devices will be unveiled on the date. The new devices by Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL are expected to have faster processors, improved cameras and will also include wireless charging. The larger device 3 XL might also have edge-t—edge screen that will cover almost the entire front of the display. This could be one of the biggest screens to grace a Pixel. The search engine giant has suffered a good amount of leaks in the run up before the big launch and some of the recent set of images has just given the fans a close up look at these devices.

The images which have been leaked have claimed to be that of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL. Apart from showing off the new design the post ahs also revealed that the Pixels could arrive in Black and White which is similar to that of the current range.
