South Korean giant Samsung is currently working on a new Android based tablet which will have an 18.4 inch display. Reports say that the tablet will have a resolution of 1,920 by 1,080 pixels and has been named as ‘Tahoe’.
The upcoming tablet is aimed to be used at home and living rooms. The device is expected to run on Android 5.1 Lollipop and be powerful by an octa-core 64-bit 1.6 GHz Exynos 7580 processor. A few other speculated features of the device include 32 GB of internal storage, 2GB RAM, support for cards up to 128 GB with a huge battery of 5,700 mAh battery.
The upcoming tablet is also expected to have 8 mega pixel main camera and 2.1 mega pixel secondary camera. As for now, there is no word on when the tablet is expected to be out. Samsung intends to bring this in to the market at some point.
At the same time the South Korean giant is not promoting the idea of large screens. Fuhu an expert in the world of kid’s tablet had launched the 20 inch tablet Nabi Big Tab that were designed to address eh concerns surrounding solitary nature of tablet play.
