LG sets foot in tablet market with new LG G Pad 10.1.

South Korean based electronics manufacturer – LG – has announced the global availability of its new tablet – LG G Pad 10.1. The LG tablet is equipped with an 8000 mAh battery with security and keyboard correction tools which are found in its smartphone line up.

The new LG G Pad is the largest tablet in the G Pad series and is now available for the global market. The new tablet was introduced in June, 2014 and is an Android powered device which has got features bearing resemblance to the company’s lineup of smartphones.

The G3’s multitasking Dual Window mode, which splits the screen allowing users to use two apps at the same, is another feature that the new G Pad 10.1 incorporates.

The device also has a knockCode security feature which is already found on its smartphones. With the help of the knock source the users can power on and unlock the device with the help of a series of taps. The G Pad can remember about four series knock patterns which means that multiple people can use the same device and also maintain their own unique security pattern.

The G Pad has a 1.2 Ghz quad core processor with 1GB RAM and a 1,280 X 800 HD display.
