Search engine giant Google has introduced a new way of using its search engines for the users with touch screen phones or tablets. Google has introduced hand writing technology for its search home page.

The new Handwrite feature enables the users, who are using a touch screen tablet or phone to draw with their fingers anywhere on their device on the home page. The handwriting will automatically convert in to text in the search box.

But for the mean while the latest technology only works on mobile version of Google.com and then for the handsets running on Android 2.3 or later, as well as tablets running on Android 4.0 or later and Apple device running on iOS 5 and up. The handwriting recognition works in addition to the onscreen keyboard instead of a replacement for it.

It can also be switched on and off through the settings menu which can be found at the bottom of the page. Google while talking about the advantages of the Handwrite said that it can be used when people are standing in a busy street or in a bumpy taxi ride or talking with a friend or even sitting on a couch or anywhere where fondling will be more convenient than tapping.
