US tech giant Apple has rarely offered its products on discount, but Black Friday is one of those days of the year when products like the iPad, iPhone or Mac are available at attractive prices. Black Friday sales for Apple started off at 12:01 am on Friday November 22, 2012 on its online store.

However, the sale is only set to last until 11:59 pm on the same day, which means that discounts will only last for 24 hours. Users will have to hurry in order to make the most of Black Friday sales. On the other hand, the company’s brick and mortar stores will open longer than usual, but hours will vary according to the location.

Customers are requested to check with their local Apple Store before hand to see what their Black Friday hours would be. Typically, Apple discounts its products by 9% to 15% on Black Friday, which means that it is not all that generous with its sales offers.

Apple is stingy with its offers because it knows that its products are popular and they will be in demand whether or not their prices have been slashed. Apple customers can also make their purchases through the official iPhone Apple Store application.
